CJ Golbranson

MDB Knights Coach; Head Varsity Baseball Coach - Needham High School

CJ, a West Roxbury native, graduated from Archbishop Williams in 2016. Earning League All-Star Honors throughout the 2014-2016 seasons. CJ continued on to play NCAA College Baseball at Florida Southwestern in Ft. Meyers, FL. 

CJ will enter his second season as Head Baseball Coach of Needham High School in the Spring of 2025. In his first year as the Head Coach of Needham, CJ led to the Rockets to their first playoff birth in three seasons. Before starting his tenure at Needham, CJ spent three seasons at the College Level as a Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Quincy College.

At Matt Duffy Baseball Academy, CJ has covered all levels of play as a coach. He has coached at the 10U, 11U, 15U, 16U, 17/18U levels. Serving as Head Coach at these levels, he also offers one-on-one and group lessons for baseball players all ages. CJ can be reached directly at: [email protected]
